A full-sized symphony orchestra founded in 1932 and currently under the direction of David Grandis. The ensemble is based at the College, but made of student as well as community members. They present 4 concerts a year, featuring major orchestral works.

Another community orchestra, established in 1984 which offers concerts throughout the Tidewater area. Join them for their 40th anniversary season!

A long-time area volunteer choral ensemble (SATB) which will often present works accompanied by a chamber orchestra. This season they will be performing Vivaldi’s “Gloria” in December, and the Brahms “Requiem” in May.
